Inaugurated in 1983, the Colorado lottery is administered by the Colorado state government. Once the GOCO distribution cap is met, proceeds are distributed to the Building Excellent Schools Today fund. Colorado Lottery has invested more than 3 billion dollars in protecting Colorado’s wilderness and many more activities such as building parks, pools, trails and many more other recreational spots.
